7 DAYS KILIMANJARO TREKKING (LEMOSHO ROUTE – A NO-NONSENSE CLIMB)

Overview

The Lemosho Route is a favorite among trekkers for its scenic beauty and high success rate. Starting from the lush rainforest at Londorossi Gate, the trail crosses the spectacular Shira Plateau and ascends through diverse and dramatic landscapes. The route offers excellent acclimatization with its gradual ascent profile and extra days for rest and altitude adaptation. Trekkers are treated to stunning views of the surrounding plains, deep gorges, and the dramatic Barranco Wall, providing both a visual and physical highlight. Ideal for those who appreciate a quieter trail with varied scenery, the Lemosho Route combines adventure with natural beauty. The longer itinerary increases the chances of a successful summit, making it a preferred choice for many climbers aiming to reach the top of Africa.
